Greetings from New Zealand
When I look at the log to be generated it talks about IE history etc.
Does Index.dat clean other history, cookies etc from mozilla firefox.
Thankyou

Clint,
Thanks for stopping by.

At present, the only Gecko based browser that is supported, is Orca Browser. Mozilla/FF and the likes are planned for a future update. Until the update is developed and released, you may want to look at CrapCleaner, which apparently already supports them.

Firefox et al, do not use the standard "index.dat" files. These are used by shells such as IE, Avant Browser Maxthon etc only.

Does Firefox keep some sort of permenant record like IE or can you easily delete its history?

I don`t actually use Firefox, but Orca, which uses the same engine as FireFox, stores the data in;

%userprofile%\Application Data\Orca Browser\Profiles\Cache

Chances are, FireFox stores it in a similar location ....

I`m planning on looking into it with a view to adding it to IDS in the next few weeks or so.
